Here are some random links accrued through 2009 that I am presenting for your perusal.
a) What were the most popular searches on Google in 2009? It's quite an eclectic mix. (Surely, you know that the most searched word in 2008 was Katrina, right?).
b) While searching the web for some insight into why people's sense of humor differs, I came across this very nicely written article by Stewart Lee of the Guardian that explores this very-same issue.
c) How India got to the #1 ranking in Tests is nothing compared to the skill of Ricky Jay. See the following video and marvel at him. I picked up a few of his tricks over the Christmas break, the difficulty of pulling off which makes me admire this fellow eve more.
d) Continuing on that theme, here's some incredible dexterity with cocktails.
