Oh yes, it is about the "birth" of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Chandrahas saw something in him that day that we now know for a fact.
When Dhoni finally skied a ball to midwicket and was caught, he departed to a standing ovation, with his everpresent swagger and with the red tints in his hair glinting in the sun. It felt as if something had changed violently within the long-settled and familiar order that is the Indian batting line-up, as if an explosion had gone off whose echo would ring in the ears for very long.

This means you still believe in MSD right?
I can't believe what I read in some blogs; people actually wanted India to fail in this series so that they could "prove" that MSD is not all that!
I guess it takes all types to make this world!
I have always believed in MSD and if you have kept up with my old posts on the guy, I have noticed him even before most others picked up on his ability to finish games.
There are some people who just need a ruckus to prove their existence and those folks need not be paid attention to.
(Just click on the MS Dhoni label to the right and you can go back in time. it is actually a wonderful way to see how he has matured over time, really, and there are some nice articles by others thrown in)
